Agents say Noho, clients say where?

Agents say Noho, clients say where?

Following a discussion with a client recently, Tom Lax of Morgan Pryce, the tenant only acquisition agency in Central London, has concluded that Agents speak a different language to their clients!

“I was talking to a client on the phone recently and I told them that Noho office space would be ideal for them” said Tom.  “The client said there was absolutely no way they could be anywhere other than just north of Oxford Street and this Noho area was out of the question!”

As it transpires, Noho encompasses the area just North of Oxford Street and thus the confusion between Agent speak and the areas commonly referred to by the average person in the street.  This difference in naming areas can be quite confusing all round with many areas in London referred to by Agents in their own language.

“It is true that we talk about offices in Soho, Noho, Fitzrovia, Mid Town, The Fringe and The City whilst our clients tend to refer to areas purely by postcode and tube station.  Advertising space by terms more closely associated to those known by clients will probably help those dealing with a commercial property agent for the first time and we are going to make changes to our website to reflect this” confirmed David Perrins, Managing Director of Morgan Pryce.

Morgan Pryce is a tenant acquisition agency that specialises in acquiring commercial office space for clients.  Morgan Pryce has a dedicated team that specialises in offices in Noho and areas north of Oxford Street.
