Ashby Capital and Helical’s office building One Bartholomew has secured its final tenant in the form of financial services business finnCap. The firm has signed a lease for the fifth floor of the 19,609 sq ft space, taking it to fully let just 12 months after it was completed.
One Bartholomew is a BREEAM Excellent, grade A office building located on Barts Square — a mixed-use development situated between St Paul’s and Smithfield comprising approximately 250,000 sq ft of office space, 236 apartments and 10 retail and restaurant units.
Commenting on its move to the new space, finnCap chief executive Sam Smith said: “We are excited to be moving into a building of the quality of One Bartholomew Close. We are confident that this will give a strong impression to our clients and a great working environment for our staff, in a very convenient location with excellent transport links and the forthcoming opening of Crossrail.”
Meanwhile, chief executive at Ashby Capital, Peter Ferrari, said: “We are delighted the building is fully let at rents significantly beyond our initial expectations to provide an excellent addition to our growing portfolio of high quality assets.”
Helical chief executive Gerald Kaye added: “To have fully let One Bartholomew within 12 months of completion and launch is an excellent result and testament to the quality of the building and the fantastic environment we have created at Barts Square.”
