Flexible working still dominates in London

The demand for flexible workspace continues to go from strength to strength as British Land confirms a host of prime location lettings within its Storey flexible schemes, including 10,200 sq ft at Regent’s Place and 15,200 sq ft at Paddington Central. The total amount of Storey workspace now let or under offer has reached an impressive 88,000 sq ft, taking occupancy to 77%.

Storey has proved to be a huge success in London over the last year, as demand has increased for flexible working space that allows companies to move and evolve alongside market fluctuations, and the City has become more popular with smaller tech companies looking for well-located space but not yet ready to commit to large, long-term lets.

As Tim Roberts, Head of Offices at British Land, has explained; “We have seen strong interest in Storey since its launch last year; it is testament to the quality of the offer that these innovative businesses have chosen to take space with Storey… Our customers are drawn to the flexibility that Storey can provide and our unique campus proposition; places where they can be part of a community of dynamic companies from a range of sectors, whilst benefitting from the diverse amenities we offer.”
