Howard de Walden secures four new tenants and planning permission for its Marylebone headquarters

In a slew of significant achievements for the Howard de Walden Estate, Incisive Health, Monarch Capital, Big Win Philanthropy and Reef Estates have signed 10-year leases at rents of £81 per sq ft to take up 11,000 sq ft across the first to fifth floors of the firm’s prestigious site at 51 Welbeck Street in Marylebone.

The company has also been granted planning permission by Westminster City Council to refurbish the space at 23 Queen Street and 35 Harley Street to create a new open plan headquarters. Work is set to commence early 2019 with a completion date of Q1 2021.

Chief Executive of The Howard de Walden Estate, Andrew Hynard, says: “This is a very exciting time for the Estate and we are delighted that through this significant investment in the heart of Marylebone, we will be able to make the fantastic ideas behind this project a reality…The project illustrates the Estate’s drive to invest in its people and demonstrates its long-term commitment to the area. It is designed to benefit both the team and the occupiers with whom we engage.”
