Lord Sugar’s real estate agency has agreed to sell 42,000 sq ft of space, ideally situated in the Crosspoint building on Liverpool street, to US private equity firm Carlyle.
Amsprop has recently developed the notable site, which is located on the corner of Liverpool Street and Bishopsgate, and Carlyle will use the space for its new serviced offices brand, Uncommon, which launched in 2017. The up-and-coming brand already has sites in Borough and Fulham, and this new acquisition puts it in competition with other large office providers, such as WeWork and London Executive Offices, which have already begun expanding rapidly in the capital as demand for shorter leases and flexible workspaces increases.
Both Amsprop and Carlyle have declined to comment.
