New commercial opportunities in St James - Morgan Pryce

23rd October 2012

New commercial opportunities in St James

A new development in St James is set to become available to the commercial market. This will lead to a 20,000 square foot increase in space available to businesses that are looking for offices in St James. In addition, 45,000 square feet of retail premises will be created, and ultimately, 40,000 square feet of space for new homes may also form part of the development.

With the present demand for offices in Central London outstripping supply, Morgan Pryce, London’s commercial property agent, believes this will give the market a much-needed boost to the current office space on offer: “This development, once completed, will attract a number of top businesses, given that it is situated in a sought-after area in London,” says John Eden, of Morgan Pryce. He continues, “The new development will also, we understand, protect the area’s celebrated heritage.”

High standards for new offices in St James

This project is predicted to be costing over £350 million, and will provide new grade-A offices as well as top-of-the-range retail space. The development has been designed by Make Architects, and their plans encompass the transformation of 52-56 Haymarket; a makeover of the buildings at 14-20 Regent Street, and the replacement of the Haymarket block.
