The new trend of co-working spaces has exploded on an international level in every central business district of the world. WeWork, being one of the major players in the market, now holds 168 office locations in 43 different cities.
Regus, a global workspace provider, has taken a bold step forward and recently acquired 12,800 sq ft at Romer House on Lewisham High Street. Eugene O’Sullivan, one of London’s leading Chartered Surveyors and Managing Director at Morgan Pryce, says; “Workspace providers are a good initiation for helping start-ups develop and expand.”
The office will operate over three floors and provide over 200 workstations, while its location benefits from many amenities, including easy access to central London. The Lewisham area is currently undergoing significant regeneration and property development, and is well on the way to establishing itself as a new business district.
Richard Morris, UK Chief Executive at Regus, says; “We’re delighted to be opening our first Lewisham location”.
Eugene O’Sullivan continues; “Lewisham is just a start, Brexit will most likely influence many businesses to stay in the UK, which could, over time, rejuvenate the financial status of many British cities.”
