The world’s leading business and financial centre is always an appealing place to rent office space. The City is ranked as the leading centre for global finance with over 500 banks having offices in the area. It is also the home to The London Stock Exchange as well as Lloyd’s of London, the Bank of England and many other global headquarters (including Unilever, Prudential and Aviva).
However, The City has plenty of office space available to rent for a wide range of businesses. Being in such a well connected area of London (both in terms of transport and business communications), the workspaces available are extremely good value for money for large and small enterprises alike.
The City is a densely populated and cosmopolitan area with much more to offer other than business and finance. There are many cultural and sporting opportunities available for people of all ages – The Barbican Centre along with the City of London Festival, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Guildhall Art Gallery all represent a growing arts and drama culture within The City.
The Museum of London and the large number of public libraries add to the area’s cultural roots. Surprisingly sport also seems to thrive within the dense metropolis of skyscrapers and towers. The scarce green space is put to good use by a variety of sport clubs and there are a number of running routes for the joggers of the population.
The City workers may work hard but they also play hard. A vibrant nightlife has developed in the Bishopsgate area towards Shoreditch and includes a variety of pubs, bars and nightclubs. There are also a number of fine restaurants – perfect for lunchtime meetings or a relaxed after-work meal.
