Last week was a very busy one for all of the agents at Morgan Pryce. This was mainly due, as often seems to be the case, many deals come to completion all at once.
One of the deals which completed early in the week was completed by Rhodri Mason, experienced Central London acquisition agent, on behalf of one of his clients. Well technically it was two of his clients who took a lease together under one name. They were sister companies who had got in contact with Morgan Pryce separately. When they both realised that they were going to be moving office it seemed like a good idea to move together. Now it was down to Morgan Pryce to a space that could work for them.
Being a young and growing film company, they were looking for a space which had a bit of character. They could not think of anything worse than sitting in an office with suspended ceilings and grey carpets. Space with any character in the West End is hard to come by and when cool offices come available they tend to disappear quickly. This is where having an agent on board who can present you a space as soon as it comes on the market it key.
They ended up taking 3,000 sq. ft. in a beautifully refurbished period office on Mortimer Street, in the Noho area. The office was split into East and West wing which was the perfect split for the two companies. The wood floors were restored with each wing split into 5 to 6 smaller rooms. Being on the first floor of a period building the ceiling height was fantastic. It really was a great find!
