Shoreditch is the epicentre of tech start-ups and SMEs in London. Techspace, a workspace provider for the creative and tech community, has acquired an opportunity to expand its business, and is set to open a brand new co-working space in this ideal area.
Techspace has shown interest in a 20,000 sq ft building located on Luke Street, which includes 2,000 sq ft double height event space and 354 work stations.
Unlike most workspace providers, only high-growth technology companies are eligible to become members of Techspace, which ensures that the quality of businesses is kept to a high standard. Companies joining Luke Street will be part of the scale-up social and business community. This aspect is similar to other organisations such as WeWork – a leading international workspace provider.
This is the sixth co-working space that Techspace will have opened in London, taking the community up to a total of 1,500 members.
Eugene O’Sullivan, leading Chartered Surveyor and Managing Director at Morgan Pryce, says; “Techspace has a unique business model due to its acceptance of businesses based on economic factors and growth. Opening more space in London, especially in areas like Shoreditch, will improve the opportunities for start-ups and SMEs to work in a controlled business environment.
